What is Invisalign® treatment?

Invisalign® treatment uses a series of clear plastic aligners to straighten your smile. Because the aligners are transparent, no one needs to know you are undergoing treatment. The aligners are also custom made for your exact smile, making the results incredibly accurate.

Because Invisalign® clear aligners are removable, you can simply take them out for meals and important events. You also won’t need to fit many new appointments into your schedule, as you can progress through treatment by switching to a new set of aligners from home!

How does Invisalign® treatment work?

During a full orthodontic consultation with our team in Chesterfield, we will use our cutting-edge TRIOS intraoral scanner to make a digital model of your smile. This accurate 3D model will be used to construct your custom aligners and plan your bespoke treatment from start to finish.

We will use this model to check on your progress during treatment. Because your treatment programme is completely planned out, we can even use the model to show you what your smile will look like at the end of treatment!

When you receive your custom aligners, each set will be shaped slightly differently than the next. This is what helps move your teeth into alignment as you switch between sets as suggested by your Specialist Orthodontist.
