Our New Premises
 

It was a seemingly never-ending process of finding and purchasing the most appropriate site, designing a building fit for the purpose of a modern orthodontic practice, and then actually funding and building it. But we finally did it, and the new Chesterfield Orthodontics - Smile by Design was opened in September 2005 by Paul Holmes MP.

It is wonderful to be here. We now have a very pleasant working environment, are fully computerised (and so "paper-free") with the latest and best in digital X-Ray processing, and we are able to comply with all of the many requirements for Health and Safety regulations and access for the disabled. Patients benefit from a cool glassy interior with light, airy waiting rooms and reception area. The treatment rooms are modern and hygienic and there is air conditioning throughout these areas.

At the same time we have expanded our staff base and updated our image to suit the much higher profile of the practice since it was set up by Phil in 1995 in Hasland. We are now able to treat 3 times the number of patients to the same high standard as before. All of this has been with the support of our PCT, and we have been pleased to enter into a new contract with them to provide the level of service that Derbyshire deserves. We are confident that our patients will agree.
